Traditionally, one of the best ways to learn about genealogy was to attend a conference. Over a few days you could attend lots of classes, and you would leave ready to go.
Unfortunately, having spent a few days soaking in lots of information, you are left not knowing where to start. Don’t get me wrong, I love a genealogy conference. I have been to many and have volunteered at several conferences. Over the years, I have become more and more frustrated with the conference model, and I want to change how I teach.
Instead of listening to an hour long lecture, our lessons are short. Each video is less than ten minutes long. It is immediately followed up by an application exercise.
